Description We are seeking an entry-level Accountant to join our team in the wholesale distribution industry, located in Coppell, Texas. In this role, you will have the opportunity to handle customer transactions, maintain financial records, and assist in the preparation of financial reports. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Accurately record transactions to the general ledger • Assist with the preparation of financial reports and accounting statements • Analyze transactions by comparing historical trends to current year budget and actual results • Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports • Compile financial information to assist the accounting team • Conduct in-depth analysis on rental revenue and account reconciliations • Aid in cash application and billing support • Adhere to company practices, policies, and procedures • Varied account reconciliation and analysis • Perform other assigned duties as part of the accounting team. Requirements • Possession of skills in Account Coding, essential for maintaining accurate financial records. • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems, necessary for streamlining accounting processes. • Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat, key for handling digital documents. • Experience with Dynamics NAV, an asset for managing business operations. • Knowledge of ERP Solutions, critical for integrating various business processes. • Ability to perform Account Analysis, vital for evaluating financial information. • Understanding of Accounting Entries, important for recording business transactions. • Capacity to handle Accounting Functions, fundamental for managing financial activities. • Experience in Account Reconciliation, necessary for ensuring accurate financial records. • Skills in handling Accounts Payable (AP), crucial for managing outgoing payments.
