Accountant - Environmental & Grant Accounting

**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Participate in the month-end close process for the environmental business unit, including preparation and posting of journal entries, account reconciliations, and reporting.
+ Carry out monthly consolidation for a sub-group within the environmental business unit.
+ Prepare account analysis and reconciliations for balance sheet accounts.
+ Reconcile project database with external parties and assist with annual audit requests.
+ Support the accounting for grants of federally funded programs, ensuring compliance with payroll, travel, and other cost categories.
**What Are We Looking For:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
+ Minimum of 4 years of experience.
+ SAP experience.
+ Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
+ Proven history of meeting deadlines and working collaboratively as part of a team.
+ Prefer experience with grant contracts, grant management, and accounting, ensuring meticulous compliance with IFRS, GASB, Uniform Guidance Administrative Requirements, and the Single Audit Act when recording transactions.
