General Notes

This is a grant-funded position and reassignment will be based upon performance, progress toward research goals and continuation of funding.

Responsibilities

Provide payment processing services for sub-awards, consultants and other payment types such as *DEFINE and Tango. 

Complete travel requests and reimbursements through the Travel Request System and *DEFINE.

Audit and process Cash Advance and Tango gift card requests in accordance with The University of Texas at Austin policies, rules and regulations.

Process Purchase Orders and Service Agreement requests, amendments and cancellations as needed.

Reconcile clearing account and complete funding transfers monthly through *DEFINE.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field. Experience working at an institute of higher education and/or with research accounts. Experience in systems such as *DEFINE, Point Plus, Rewards Genius, Travel Request System, Contracts Plus, and/or Workday. Accounting or bookkeeping experience. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to take initiative. Excellent problem solving skills. Ability to process multi-faceted information. Professional demeanor. Capable of monitoring information for high-volume, fast-paced research office. Excellent time-management skills. Values the contributions of others in the work environment. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Salary Range

$55,000 + depending on qualifications
