What you will do to contribute to the company's success

Support the Finance & Accounting team by being a strong team player that is willing to assist others for the good of the teamParticipates in the timely and accurate execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities relevant to revenue in accordance with U.S. GAAP and ASC 606, including journal entries, account analysis and reconciliation processesSupports assigned internal and external audit activities, including SOX complianceDevelops detailed understanding of the end-to-end process of assigned areas, including related stakeholders, systems, accounting processes, and internal controls that support internal and external reportingPerforms financial statement analysis and review. Researches and resolves issues which are identified during reviewSupport ad hoc analysis requests and participate in revenue standardization and integration projectsCollaborate with other departments within the organization to gather, analyze, and interpret any relevant financial informationProactively seeks to keep abreast of accounting, reporting and disclosure standards promulgated by the FASB, SEC and PCAOB that affect internal accounting and reporting practices. Provides sound analysis and supports the impact of changesThis position has the expectation and responsibility to take on other duties needed to help drive our Purpose, fulfill our Brand Principles, and abide by our Organization’s Values.

Qualifications

3 Years' prior experienceBA/BS in Accounting or related fieldSuperb attention to detail and strong planning and organization skills with concern for quality and deadlinesIntermediate Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot tables, Lookups, IF statements, etc.)Ability to analyze and interpret large datasets to determine trendsKnowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) requiredMust be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task, effectively prioritize, and deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentAbility to think creatively, anticipate problems and opportunities, and develop vision for continuous improvementStrong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to quickly and positively influence all levels of the organizationAbility to work extra hours as needed to support the financial close
