Job OverviewThe AP Accountant is responsible for ensuring all supplier invoices are correct and supported by necessary documentations. He/she is in-charged of timely recording of supplier invoices.
A Day In The LifeCoordinates with suppliers and ensures invoices are correct and supported by delivery receipt, receiving report, purchase order, and quotation. Enters suppliers’ invoices in the ERP while ensuring VAT and withholding taxes are classified and entered correctly. Prepares the details of all BIR related monthly reports such as expanded withholding taxes, input taxes, output taxes, final withholding taxes, etc.
File the VAT relief and alphalist on withholding taxes. Reconciles all input and expanded withholding taxes against the corresponding expense accounts
Prepares suppliers accruals during month-end closing. Prepares reconciliation of all assigned Balance Sheet accounts
What will help you thrive in this role?Preferably a graduate of bachelor’s degree in accountancy or any business-related course. Minimum of 3 years accounts payable experience. Preferably with experience in SAP. Advanced MS Office skill set. Good oral and written communication skills. Self-starter with strong problem-solving skill set.
