We are looking for an **Accountant II.** **Key Responsibilities:** + Assists in all aspects of the monthly financial close process including processing journal entries, reviewing account variances and reconciliations across multiple divisions/operating locations, utilizing Blackline. + Assist with the quarterly review and annual audit by preparing schedules, resolving questions, etc. + Preparation of financial reports and variance analysis as needed. + Serves as a backup for other team member reconciliations and processes. + Identify and communicate any suggestions for improvement to the internal control environment including policy and process changes. + Work on special projects as assigned. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, CPA or equivalent qualification preferred. + Requires at least 2-3 years’ experience within either an Accounting Department with in-depth experience of account reconciliations and journal entries, preferably at an organization with multiple locations. + Work requires initiative and the ability to analyze complex accounting documents to improve processes and reporting where results have monetary impact. + Should be familiar with automated accounting systems + Must possess strong computer skills overall, including the ability to navigate between different systems. Requires experience and competency working with Excel (i.e. Vlookups, Pivots, etc). + Work requires the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple task environments. + Previous exposure to foreign currency transactions a plus. The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000 annually.
