Overview Pacific Retirement Services (PRS), a non-profit leader in the senior living/hospitality industry, is seeking a highly skilled team-oriented Accountant III to join our team. This full-time position will be based out of our home office in Medford, Oregon. What you’ll be doing: You will perform functions necessary to ensure proper reconciliation of the general ledger and representation of the financial statements for assigned Pacific Retirement Services (PRS) affiliates and their foundations. You will work with designated community team members on day-to-day accounting issues, prepare supporting documentation for external auditors, and review the annual audit. As you gain experience, you will gain exposure to more complexity within the accounting spectrum and contribute to creating operational efficiency. About you: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field. Three (3) years’ accounting experience. Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially MS Excel, and accounting systems. Excel competency testing may be required. Strong understanding of GAAP, Excel, business contracts, internal control procedures and other outside reporting principles and regulations. Execute responsibilities in a highly accurate and timely manner, understanding that incorrect or untimely reporting could negatively impact business decisions or outcomes. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Work Arrangement: Fully in-person for the first 6 months Option to transition to hybrid schedule after 6 months: 3 days in-person, 2 days remote.
