Finance & Control department in Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is part of Circle K's Global Finance organization and is responsible for full accounting and financial reporting cycle for Circle K European operations.    

Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is looking for a team player who will join our team as:

ACCOUNTANT in Fixed assets team 

Main responsibilities: 

Ensure accurate and timely accounting and reporting of fixed assets in accordance to Group deadlines and guidelines for Business unit results on a monthly, quarterly, and year-end basis. 

Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities faced in accounting and reporting area related to fixed assets for the supported Business unit. 

Ensure close dialogue with technical leaders in Business unit about various CAPEX projects and various stakeholders in Business center. 

Ensure compliance of internal controls in accordance with the Group’s guidelines. 

Take an active part in knowledge transfer project.  

Contribute to maintaining procedure descriptions and instructions. 

Main requirements: 

University degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.

Relevant work experience in accountancy, at least 2 years, preferably within an international work environment.

Goal-oriented, proactive, with a high level of responsibility.

Ability to work in a changing environment.

Good computer skills and general accounting system background (SAP, Oracle JDE and Longview is an advantage).

Fluent English language skills to communicate with business units and colleagues in Europe.
