Description We are looking for an experienced part time Accountant for a non profit organization in Alhambra. Responsibilities: • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions. • Verify and reconcile journal entries to maintain the integrity of financial data. • Prepare detailed procedural statements to support operational workflows. • Assist in the creation and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for accounting processes. • Utilize accounting software and ERP systems to streamline financial operations. • Conduct audits of financial data to ensure compliance with established standards and regulations. • Monitor and reconcile balance sheet accounts to maintain accurate financial records. • Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and improve system functionality. • Provide insights and recommendations to optimize accounting processes and reporting. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, including accounts payable and receivable. • Proficiency in accounting software systems and ERP platforms. • Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and practices. • Experience in auditing processes and financial data reconciliation. • Ability to prepare and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members. • Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
