Searching for an experienced Tax Preparer for a local CPA firm in Longview, TX. Monday- Friday 8 am-5 pm, occasional Saturdays during tax season. $20-30/hr based on experience.

Temp-to-Hire position$20.00 to $30.00 /hourFull Time work availableWeekend work requiredFirst Shift (Monday through Saturday)Manage all accounting transactionsPrepare budget forecastsPublish financial statements on timeHandle monthly, quarterly, and annual closingsReconcile accounts payable and receivableEnsure timely bank paymentsCompute taxes and prepare tax returnsManage balance sheets and profit/loss statements100% paid medical and dental insurance, 401K, and paid vacationAccountant Tax Preparer Qualifications:
Previous Tax Prep at CPA firm is requiredExperience in QuickBooks preferredExperience in basic accounting such as payroll, sales tax, data entry, and reconciliations Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
