PRIMARY EMPLOYMENT OBJECTIVES
The Accounting Associate is responsible for various month end balance sheet reconciliations, analyses and journal entries and sales tax filing for all entities. This is a temporary position and Hybrid - 3 days in our Marlborough office weekly
SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Responsible for recording bank transactions in a timely manner;
+ Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger;
+ Responsible for maintaining the fixed assets register;
+ Responsible for various balance sheet reconciliations;
+ Support monthly and year-end closings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness;
+ Office base environment, some repetitive motion required.
+ Assist in the preparation of year-end and governmental audit files;
+ Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed.
Knowledge, Skill & Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience
2+ years of relevant work experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Attention to detail and strong organization skills required
Positive can-do attitude a must.
Demonstrate the ability to collaborate with cross-functional departments.
