Accounting Analyst

The role of an Accounting Analyst serves a dual purpose. The first is to provide administrative support to Corporate Accountants in the Philippines, handling tasks such as preparing voucher documentation, filing, documenting balances during closing routines, basic bookkeeping, paying vendors, invoicing customers, and other ad hoc responsibilities. While these tasks are integral to a Corporate Accountant’s role, this position has been given a distinct title due to the difference in responsibility and the absence of designated entities. The second purpose is to conduct reviews and quality checks on the tasks performed by the Corporate Accountants, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Main Tasks:

Prepare voucher documentation (workbooks/documentation that is used as a basis for entries in general ledger) in compliance with the internal control requirements Documenting balances as part of their quarterly balance sheet reconciliation process Various bookkeeping to be done amongst the entities that Corporate Accountants are responsible for. Follows up vendor's invoices to be paid on a timely basis and manage vendor request, reminders, and inquiries. Prepares or review financial statement before they are distributed to Group Accounting Oslo for final review before being distributed to the Board of Directors. Performs analytical reviews of balance sheet items as part of the closing procedures to ensure that no significant items have been omitted or inaccurate. Invoicing customers according to internal control requirements. Follow-up of invoices being paid on a timely basis.
