Kforce has a client that is seeking an Accounting Analyst. This company is a well-established Investment Advisor located in the Financial District of Boston. The Accounting Analyst will assist in preparing and maintaining quarterly and annual financial reports, various reconciliations, and annual tax return schedules. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Prepares quarterly journal entries required for the quarterly Fund financial reporting process * Prepares quarterly and annual Fund financial statements and supporting workpapers * Interacts directly with Auditors to handle open items on assigned group of Funds * Assists Asset Managers and Fund Managers in resolving audit issues that arise on property partnerships and resolution of investor accounting questions * Prepares annual Fund tax trial balances and tax return supporting schedules * Prepares various quarterly reconciliations * Performs ad hoc requests and projects as assigned
