Description
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Analyst in Lombard, Illinois. This position is central to our industry, handling a mix of accounting and finance functions. You'll be a crucial link between various business units, requiring a high degree of accuracy and organization.
Responsibilities:
• Skillfully administer the operations associated with 401k and payrolls, including 401k fund submissions.
• Execute accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications.
• Maintain precise records of customer credit.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring financial accuracy.
• Manage intercompany transactions, particularly in regards to insurance and benefits.
• Take charge of Accounts Payable, involving the processing of approximately five invoices per week.
• Oversee the closing operations for the corporate books of multiple entities.
• Conduct intercompany balancing between each business unit, ensuring proper reconciliation.
• Handle all banking operations, including bank statement reconciliation for all business units.
• Carry out financial forecasting and budgeting for corporate books.

Requirements • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounting Analyst role or similar.
• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems.
• Demonstrated understanding and experience with Accounting Functions.
• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) procedures.
• Experience with Auditing processes and techniques.
• Proficient in using QuickBooks for accounting tasks.
