ABOUT THE JOB:

The Accounting Analyst is responsible for analyzing and interpreting financial data for the company.This position is also responsible for the timely and accurate set-up and maintenance of operational and financial system master files on multiple databases to ensure adequate control, data integrity and unconstrained productivity of other system users.

Incorporate New/Exit business strategies into the department and modify tables within all systems to accommodate these changesAnswer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.Prepare various ad-hoc reports upon request related to research, data mining and custom reports.Function as department contact for numerous IT-related projects including new technological features for customers, and various other testing/system enhancements.Setting up new customer and supplier accounts in dual ERP systems (JDE and AS400)Maintaining/creating custom General Ledger guides and online invoicing access for customersFacilitate the setup of expense vendors using validated W-9s and approved invoicesMaintain a variety of data in dual ERP systems as well as within OracleWork error reports and clear non-standard issuesAssist with testing system enhancements and coaching/training teammates on the changesOther job duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred2 years of experience in accounting or related fieldStrong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a high level of data entry accuracyWork with strict deadlines and be able to prioritize tasksProficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
