The Chief Accounting Office is responsible for preparing and maintaining the integrity of the financial statements and other financial information relating to the Company, including the adequacy and effectiveness of the Company’s internal control over financial reporting (ICFR). The team partners closely with other areas across finance, risk and the business to help ensure our financial disclosures are robust and we are constantly evolving as new requirements, including regulatory and customer driven expectations, come into effect.

New ESG disclosure requirements are a key area of focus and we recently created the ESG Controllership team to ensure we provide informed and high quality information to both our internal and external stakeholders.  The successful candidate will be a critical part of building out a robust framework to support mandatory and voluntary disclosures, working alongside our Sustainability teams and interacting with stakeholders across and outside the organization.  This role will report to the ESG Controller.

We’ll trust you to:

Have, or develop, an understanding of ESG and sustainability related principles and regulations and keep current on the evolving regulationsStrong background in reading and interpreting regulatory rulemaking and frameworksDraft and maintain standardized policies for ESG reporting, including disclosure controls and proceduresReview external reporting and verify completeness and accuracy of disclosures and compliance with regulatory requirementsPerform benchmarking of reporting, policies and controls in the ESG spacePartner across functional teams to establish controls and processes to facilitate external reportingPerform and document data quality verification procedures and execution of internal controlsLiaise with external auditor to provide requested deliverables and monitor statusDraft management reporting documentation to communicate project status and key issues

You’ll need to have:

A minimum of 3 years’ accounting and internal controls experienceStrong Microsoft Office skills (e.g., Power Point, Excel)Flexibility in adapting to an evolving environmentStrong planning, organization, and problem-solving skills

We’d love to see:

An understanding of, and interest in, global evolving ESG regulationsExperience in public accountingExperience in system implementationsCPA (or equivalent) or working towards one

Salary Range = 80000 - 115000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
