The Hilton Irvine/Orange County Airport is looking for an Accounting Analyst to join the team!
\n\nLocated within a few miles of Newport Beach, South Coast Plaza, and the Irvine Spectrum shopping centers, the property has 306 guest rooms with over 22,000 square feet of event space and 8 meeting rooms.

\nClassification: Full-time
Shifts: mornings, weekends and holidays are required
The hourly rate: $25 to $30
The ideal candidate should have experience in accounting and payroll, possess excellent Excel and communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to hold others accountable. Union experience is preferred.
\nWhat will I be doing?
\nThe Accounting Clerk will perform activities to support the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll and General Accounting functions. The Analyst/Clerk will participate in the development and processes of accurate reports and account management. In addition to performance, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the requirements of the company.
\n\nPerform applicable retained Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll and General Accounting functions\nRespond to guest inquiries, charge inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to support continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability\nCollaborate with SSCs and service provider, as well as partner with SSC to resolve disputes\nParticipate in the production of monthly accounts as directed\nComplete month-end responsibilities\nExecute internal control over revenues, expenses, assets and liabilities of the hotel\nParticipate in special projects, team training and development\nPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required\nReports results to others and aids others to understand financial matters\nDevelops and maintains constructive and cooperative working relationships with other finance departments and corporate departments they support\nCollaborates with manager to establish specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish project/department goals\nAttends staff meetings pertinent to work assignments\nResearches and responds to information requests from internal departments and management\nAct in accordance with fire, health and safety regulations on property and follow the correct procedures when required\n\nWhat are we looking for?
