Contract position: 6 months Location: New York City or Houston, TX Compensation is based on experience Position Overview: The Accounting Analyst will provide project accounting and reporting assistance related projects and projects under construction. Requirements: + Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions in the general ledger of SAP enterprise software for operational and development projects in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and accounting principles generally accepted in the United States (U.S. GAAP) + Analyze relevant contracts to ensure proper accounting treatment + Prepare bank reconciliations monthly for all cash accounts, researching and resolving outstanding reconciling items timely + Compile monthly statement of cash flows within SAP using the Liquidity Planner module + Assist with preparation of documents for annual financial statement audits + Recommend improvements in policies and procedures + Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Planning & Control, Portfolio Management, and Tax + Additional duties as required Technical Requirements: + Bachelor’s degree in accounting + 3 – 5 years of relevant experience + Experience with SAP required + Understanding of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and/or Power BI + Competency in Analytical Problem Solving, Strong Communication, Customer/Partner Relationships, and Technology Expertise preferred + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Keen attention to detail + Enthusiastic and high performing Lutech Resources has over 25 years’ experience providing tailor made recruitment and integrated resource management to leading Engineering, Energy and Manufacturing sector companies worldwide.
