Job Summary:
Responsible for the production of all GL labour recording activities for both cost centre/functional reporting and FTE analysis. Control and posting of all payroll related entries with ownership of employee expense record/report. Responsible for relevant balance sheet reconciliations and completion of FTE reporting. Ownership of the daily queries relating to transactional overhead activity and analysis of previously prepared month-end results. Seek for and implement, in close co-operation with Supervisor, continuous improvements in efficiency, effectiveness and quality of service for systems under control.
Accountabilities:
The labour accountant is mainly responsible for the efficient and effective transactional activity of the labour related general ledger accounts, including payroll, bonuses, commissions, T&E, benefits, tax, relevant balance sheet reconciliations/review, plus being the escalation point for urgent and critical related issues. Timely processing and allocation to ensure efficient FTE reporting. Will contribute to an effective control process.
