As an Accounting Assistant part of a dynamic team, you will coordinate all activities related to customer discount programs for the Dealer professional sector and retailers. You will work closely with the professional sales team, customer service and the credit teams. The position holder will also support the finance team by assisting with month end closing, budgeting process and other tasks related to finance to support the sales team. You will report to the Finance Manager – Trade Canada.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all activities related to Dealers rebates programs. Calculate and prepare rebate credit memos or cheque requests for DealersPrepare and coordinate ad hoc credits and/or check requests for all Authorized Dealers and other customers/vendors.Maintain compensating controls for the ordering and selling processes.Prepare and provide customized daily sales reports to all dealer sales and zone managers and other reports such as the monthly fines.Participate with monthly closing activities by preparing journal entries and other reports.Work with cross-functional partners, including customer service, credit and selling teams.Encourage a strong internal control environment by supporting SOX engagement with auditors and providing accurate and timely information.Try to improve business processes to make them more efficient.Qualifications

Le titulaire du poste soutiendra également l'équipe finance en aidant à la clôture de la fin de mois, au processus budgétaire et à certaines autres tâches connexes reliées au support de l’équipe de vente. Ce poste relève du Superviseur Financier de la division Canadienne.
Principales Responsabilités
Coordonne toutes les activités liées aux programmes de rabais des clients. Calcule et prépare les notes de crédit de rabais ou demande de paiements pour ceux-ci.Prépare et coordonne les crédits ad hoc et/ou les demandes de chèques pour tous les clients/fournisseurs.Prépare et fournit divers rapports tels que pénalités mensuelles ou de ventes quotidiens à tous les directeurs des ventes provinciaux et régionaux.Aide à la clôture du mois en préparant des entrées de journal et autres rapports.Travaille en étroite collaboration avec des partenaires interfonctionnels tels que les services commerciaux, le crédit, le service à la clientèle et autres.Assure un environnement de contrôle interne adéquat en soutenant l'engagement SOX avec les vérificateurs et en fournissant des informations appropriées au moment opportun.Cherche à améliorer les processus d’affaires afin de les rendre plus performants.Qualifications
