Primary DetailsTime Type: Full timeWorker Type: EmployeeResponsible in performing outwards reinsurance functions including processing of technical entries for reinsurance collections, premiums and adjustments, and updating of reinsurance reports in a timely and accurate manner.Primary Responsibilities
Enters skeleton information of reinsurance policies such as Facultative RI Orders, Excess of Loss and Quota Shares onto EO’s reinsurance system
Creates outwards policies for Facultative RI in EO’s inwards systems and attach to applicable original inward policies
Book technical entries for reinsurance premiums and collections
Clears Syndicate Claims Messages (SCMs) in inwards systems, book RI accruals where applicable
Manipulates monthly and/or quarterly claims listings for facultative policies, generate advices or collection notes for recoveries
Raise Non-Cash LORS (NCL) for syndicate settlements made or received, and as requested by Outwards Credit Control
Assists in updating monthly EO Multinational Servicing Office spreadsheet, process multinational policies and premium onto the systems, and settle premium due where applicable
Prepares quarterly and annual returns for non-complex terrorism covers, ensures completeness of policies declared and timely payment of premium due
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Knowledge of general reinsurance terminologies, accounts, and class of business
Basic Knowledge of General Accounting
Strong skills in spreadsheets, data analysis, and reconciliation procedures
Attention to detail
Problem solving skills
Effective time management skills to meet competing deadlines
Communication skills
Stakeholder management skills
Graduate of any business course, preferably in Finance/Accounting
At least 1 year experience, preferably in a shared service environment
Open to fresh graduates
