Description Robert Half has an opening for an Accounting Assistant with our client located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. As an Accounting Assistant, you will have a significant role in enhancing financial operations, providing support to the financial department, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the accounting tasks. This is a short-term contact employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Utilize accounting software systems to streamline financial tasks • Support financial services using ADP, ensuring timely and accurate financial reports • Leverage CaseWare for auditing purposes, ensuring compliance with financial regulations • Use Concur for expense management, ensuring accurate and efficient processing • Implement ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning to enhance business processes and information flow • Execute various accounting functions to support the financial health of the organization • Handle Accounts Payable (AP), ensuring timely and accurate payment processing • Manage Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring all payments are recorded and received promptly • Conduct auditing tasks, ensuring financial transparency and compliance with regulations • Perform bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy of financial statements Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems • Experience in the mortgage industry required • Experience with ADP - Financial Services • Familiarity with CaseWare • Practical knowledge of Concur • Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning • Ability to perform various Accounting Functions • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) • Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) • Knowledge of Auditing procedures • Competency in conducting Bank Reconciliations Robert Half puts you in the best position to succeed by advocating on your behalf and promoting you to employers.
