Accounting Assistant

As a key member of this team, you will provide support for the day-to-day operations of financial reporting adding value to the company. To be successful, you must possess excellent customer service skills and are driven to exceed service standards; you have a proven ability to prioritize between competing requests; you demonstrate the strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills necessary to work effectively with both internal and external clients; and you have the financial acumen necessary to reconcile vendor payments and statements. **Your Key Responsibilities** + Review monthly invoices and statements from landlords. + Submit invoices to Accounts Payable. + Prepare manual check requests for ad-hoc payments. + Maintain multiple tracking sheets. + Manage shared mailboxes. + Review Common Area Maintenance/Operating Expense estimates and reconciliations Respond to internal and external clients' inquiries. + Other duties as assigned **Job Requirements** + Accounting diploma/ degree with at least 2 years of accounting experience. + Experience with Oracle, CoStar Real Estate Manager and BlackLine is an asset Previous lease administration preferable but not necessary. + Effective communication skills, including written and oral English language competency. + High degree of accuracy in reviewing invoices, statements, and other documents. + Strong organizational skills to manage multiple competing priorities and firm deadlines. + A proactive and responsive customer service approach. + Experience in working in a fast-paced environment. + Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
