SUMMARY: Perform all booking functions and customer service representative payee program. 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Brown University Health employees are expected to successfully role model the organization�s values of Compassion Accountability Respect and Excellence as these guide our everyday actions with patients customers and one another. 

Process all check requests from caseworkers on a timely matter; approximately 1200 checks per month. Update client listing with any changed SSI/SSDI amounts new clients etc. Run monthly transaction report by client and check for accuracy. 

Run deposit splits and double check against hard copy of deposits for accuracy. Have booker place stop payments on last months old checks (after date on memo). 

Copy 1 page of back reconciliation showing reconciled balance. Print new check register for the month ensuring totals match the reconciled bank reconciliation balance. 

Print account balance by client report. Total must match the bank reconciliation balance. Update negative client worksheet if any. Requisition check to cover bank fee for the month from Gateway healthcare Inc. main operating account. Write check to Gateway for applicable administrative fee per client per month.

 Send checking and savings client activity report for each client for current month to caseworkers after bank reconciliation is completed. 

Outstanding check memo listing old checks and when stop payments will be issued. Attend periodic finance team meetings and other activities as requested. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned or needed. 


EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent. 


EXPERIENCE: Ability to successfully complete all required training and certifications. Oral and written communication skills including speech grammar spelling and legibility are at sufficient level to ensure effective and appropriate communication. Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals either manually or by use of a calculator.
