Accounting Associate
**Job Description** Job Duties and Responsibilities + Use accounting or production software, databases, and/or spreadsheets to accurately record and review information + Enter (post) standard accounting entries; put costs (debits) and income (credits) into appropriate applications, assigning each to an appropriate account + Check for accuracy in figures, postings, and reports; reconcile or note and report any differences found in records + Verify, sort, post, and check claims, bills, invoices, and/or vouchers + Respond appropriately to vendor, client, and internal requests + Maintain accurate files for record keeping + Generate, prepare, and distribute reports + Assist in preparing summaries, charts, and/or graphs as requested + Perform basic office tasks, including answering phones, responding to emails, filing, etc. + Provide other general clerical support to the department or location as assigned + The requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required.
