Adhere to compliance and planning initiatives involving the areas of federal, state & local, international, transfer pricing, VAT and export controls. Provide support in minimizing the tax risks to the company through assisting in preparing working papers, schedules, tax returns and performing research studies. **Responsibilities** • Prepare tax calculation, tax filing. • Prepare Tax related journal entries and balance sheet accounts reconciliation. • Complete tax declaration per tax authorities regulations. • Creating reports and analysis on tax for internal and external use. • Analyze financial situation, or plan, from a tax perspective to ensure tax efficiency. • Assist in preparation both internal and external audit. • Understand SOX controls and ensure the controls are followed and report control deficiency to management on timely basis. • Coordinate with internal and external co-workers. • Able to quickly learn and perform day to activities independently. With assistance of team should step up to handle more complex business requirements with short learning curve. • Follow process and invest sufficient time in documentation of the process with focus on attention to detail. • Study and understand valid tax policies to minimize tax risks and maximize tax benefits. • Creating and utilizing automated tools for the updating, analyzing and reporting of financial results. **Required Qualifications:** • Accounting / Tax related experience is required. • VAT Refund experience preferred. • English Skill: Good in listening, speaking, written. • CPA/CTA preferred. **Posting Dates:** November 1, 2024 - November 28, 2024 Caterpillar is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO).
