Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it. **Job Summary:** Performs various routine accounting tasks in support of an operating unit. **What You Will Do:** + Responding to inquiries and contacting other departments or vendors to resolve a variety of problems. + Upon request, take part in special projects and ad hoc reporting requests. + Financial accounting including preparation of journal entries, financial statements, variance analysis, account reconciliations + Normals & machine rate development + Abnormals identification & reporting + Prime product and/or component cost monitoring & analysis + Standard and current cost grief resolution + Maintain, implement, and adhere to internal controls while ensuring that accounting procedures comply with GAAP. **What You Have:** + Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience is desired. + The ability to apply knowledge of **problem solving** appropriately to diverse situations. Like using fact-finding techniques and diagnostic tools to identify problems, helping analyze risks and benefits of alternative approaches and obtain decision on resolution. + The ability to **manage multiple tasks** , making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation. + Know how to seek guidance in detecting and addressing priority **conflicts** . + Have sufficient **English skills** to be able to communicate with various global teams + Could make oral presentations and writes reports needed for own work in both **English and mandarin** + Could be able to **communicate effectively** with different functional departments and leadership teams, understanding business processes, provide valuable business insights. + Should have the **knowledge of accounting** methods, processes, and tools and the ability to maintain and prepare financial statements and reports. + Have experience in working with **financial transactions** and related documentation within the organization is preferred. + Accounting certification of CPA, CMA, ACCA is preferred. + 3 to 5 years accounting experiences of cost and business analysis with manufacturing facility is preferred. **Posting Dates:** February 10, 2025 - February 16, 2025 Caterpillar is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO).
