Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in San Diego, California. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth accounting operations. Responsibilities: • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and efficiency. • Review and reconcile invoices to ensure proper documentation and timely payments. • Assist in identifying and disabling outdated accounts as part of maintaining financial integrity. • Maintain organized records of financial transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies. • Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and address inquiries related to invoices or accounts. • Use Salesforce and Zuora platforms to support accounting operations and reporting needs. • Generate financial reports and summaries for internal review and decision-making. • Perform data entry and update accounting systems regularly to reflect accurate information. • Provide general administrative support to the accounting department as needed. • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance overall efficiency. Requirements • Basic understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for managing and analyzing financial data. • Familiarity with Salesforce or Zuora platforms is highly desirable. • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and addressing inquiries. • Willingness to learn and adapt to new accounting tools and procedures.
