Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in New York, New York. In this role, you will support financial operations by managing various accounting processes, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with company policies. This position is a great opportunity for an individual with a strong foundation in accounting principles and a passion for organization. Responsibilities: • Perform account reconciliation to ensure financial records are accurate and up to date. • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner. • Handle billing tasks, including generating and reviewing invoices for accuracy. • Enter financial data into accounting systems with precision and efficiency. • Manage invoice processing and ensure all payments are tracked appropriately. • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks to complete daily tasks. • Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review. • Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies in financial records. • Maintain organized records to support audits and compliance efforts. • Assist with other accounting tasks as needed to support department goals. Requirements • At least 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field. • Proficiency in account reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. • Strong skills in billing, data entry, and invoice processing. • Excellent organizational and time management abilities. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. • Knowledge of general accounting principles and practices.
