Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Clearwater, Minnesota. This long-term contract position offers an opportunity to contribute to essential accounting operations within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy while handling a variety of financial tasks. Responsibilities: • Process purchase orders and ensure accurate documentation. • Manage accounts payable transactions, including invoice processing and vendor communications. • Oversee accounts receivable functions, such as payment tracking and customer account reconciliation. • Perform accurate and timely data entry to maintain financial records. • Assist with general accounting responsibilities as assigned by the department. • Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting procedures. • Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data. • Support financial reporting processes with reliable data input. • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive financial information. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accounting Clerk in a high-volume industry. • Proficiency in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes. • Demonstrated ability to handle purchase orders and invoice processing efficiently. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and meet deadlines. • Solid understanding of general accounting principles. • Excellent organizational and communication skills. • Familiarity with financial software and tools is a plus.
