Accounting Clerk

Pacifica Hotels is searching for an Accounting Clerk to join our team at the Home Office! The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for assisting in all areas of accounting for the centralized hotel accounting team.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to:

Assist with accounts payable by validating the accuracy of chart of accounts coding Assist with research of invoice discrepancies and reconciliation of statements Prepare journal entries Summarize data in excel Scan and file electronic documents Administrative assistance as requested Special projects and ad hoc requests as needed

 

Supervisory Responsibility: None

Independent Judgment Used: Frequently within the guidelines established by management and to the extent of operating within company policies and procedures.

Working Conditions/Environment:  Office Environment

Qualifications:  High School degree or equivalent.  Ability prioritize and to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner. Eye for detail, accuracy is imperative.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative. Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.  Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines as required.

Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.00 / hour
