Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in the Oil & Gas - Field Services industry, based in Midland, Texas. This role involves working closely with our sales team and interacting with various software systems to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Responsibilities include: • Collaborating with the sales team to receive and process orders • Utilizing NetSuite to enter orders and dispatch them efficiently • Reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy and consistency in our financial records • Processing invoices in a timely and accurate manner • Handling high-volume data entry tasks with precision • Utilizing Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting functions • Addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues that arise • Supporting the sales transaction process to ensure all details are correct • Employing effective communication strategies to coordinate with various departments • Ensuring all data entered is accurate and up-to-date. Requirements • Proficiency in account reconciliation • Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Knowledge of billing processes • Proficiency in data entry and high-volume data entry • Experience in invoice processing • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and NetSuite • Experience in computer data entry and numeric data entry • Ability to perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently • Experience in handling purchase orders and support tickets • Knowledge of sales transactions and dispatching processes • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written • Knowledge of effective communication strategies • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong problem-solving skills • A willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
