Description We are currently looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our team at a renowned entertainment company on a temporary basis. This position will be focused on providing support to our Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Department, with a strong emphasis on manual processes and cash applications. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with JD Edwards and Excel software systems. Key Responsibilities: + Manage AP and AR processes, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date. + Handle manual processes involved with AP/AR including invoice verification, reconciliation, and payment processing. + Responsible for cash applications. + Maintain an organized and streamlined accounting system. + Provide accounting assistance and support to company personnel. + Investigate and resolve any irregularities or inquiries. + Generate financial reports detailing accounts receivable and payable status. Requirements Essential Skills and Qualifications: + Previous experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable in a similar industry. + Proficient with JD Edwards and Excel software systems. + Keen attention to detail and ability to keep records and files organized. + Familiarity with manual processes involved with AP and AR. + High level of accuracy and efficiency. + Strong verbal and written communication skills.
