Accounting Clerk
Description We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our team based in Margate, Florida. This role is integral to our Wholesale Distribution industry operations, where you will play a crucial part in managing accounts receivable and payable, and collaborating with sales representatives and customers. Responsibilities: • Oversee the accounts receivable process, including invoicing and collections • Communicate effectively with sales teams and customers to resolve any issues related to outstanding balances • Conduct daily bank reconciliations • Responsible for accounts payable tasks, including invoice entry and check runs • Maintain and scan invoices for positive pay schedules • Utilize accounting software for various accounting tasks • Ensure the accuracy and organization of financial records • Handle data entry and invoice processing tasks efficiently • Use Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting and data entry tasks. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, demonstrating the ability to identify and correct discrepancies in financial data. • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP), including processing payments and maintaining accurate records. • Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring timely collection of revenue and maintaining up-to-date client accounts. • Competency in Billing procedures, including generating invoices and handling customer inquiries. • Strong Data Entry skills, with an emphasis on accuracy and speed. • Experience in Invoice Processing, including validating details, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring prompt payment. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to perform complex calculations, create spreadsheets, and generate reports. • Experience with Oracle financial software, demonstrating the ability to use this tool for various accounting functions. • Familiarity with QuickBooks for financial management, including inventory tracking, payroll, and tax preparation. • Proficiency in SAP, with the ability to use this system for a variety of accounting and financial reporting tasks.
