Description Our client in the agricultural industry, based in Fallbrook, is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support the accounting department. Responsibilities: + Assist with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), including posting transactions, reconciling accounts, and managing vendor invoices. + Verify and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies. + Prepare and assist with monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit card statements, and petty cash. + Support the accounting team in maintaining accurate records and updating financial spreadsheets. + Handle data entry for financial transactions and organize physical and digital records efficiently. + Provide administrative support for audits and financial reporting as needed. + Assist in generating reports and summaries for senior management and stakeholders. Requirements + Associate's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; relevant work experience also considered. + 1-2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, ideally within the agricultural or manufacturing industry. + Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel required. + Strong organizational and time management skills with acute attention to detail. + Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
