Description The Department Administrator for the Department of Family Medicine is a key leadership role responsible for supporting the Chair in managing the department's academic, clinical, and research operations. This position oversees financial functions, including billing, accounts receivable/payable, and budget management for both the academic unit and the Family Health Center, ensuring compliance with state, local, and institutional regulations. The Administrator also identifies opportunities for process improvement, prepares financial reports, monitors performance metrics, and supports staffing needs. Acting as the primary point of contact for all non-clerkship programs, this role requires exceptional organizational, analytical, and leadership skills to adapt to the evolving needs of the department. Requirements + Monitor and manage billing processes, accounts receivable, and accounts payable for the Family Health Center. + Analyze reimbursement practices, identify opportunities for improvement, and follow up on outstanding accounts. + Create and deliver timely financial reports for the Chair and Dean’s Office as required. + Ensure adherence to all state, local, and institutional regulations, maintaining compliance across operations. + Supervise budgets for the academic unit and Family Health Center, and evaluate and approve funding requests. + Experience using MS Office, Excel and Microsoft + Ideal exposure to Tableau and Banner software Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
