Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be undertaking cashier duties in a dynamic environment, handling payments, maintaining accurate records, and providing detail-oriented customer service. Responsibilities: • Efficiently process customer payments and generate receipts • Maintain accurate records of transactions and payments • Handle and reconcile cash and checks with precision • Provide detail-oriented customer service over the phone • Conduct inventory • Calculate and manage bills for penalty and interest charges • Operate office equipment such as copiers, adding machines, and faxes • Update daily Excel spreadsheets tracking logs Requirements • Applicant must have at least 1 year of experience in an Accounting Clerk role or similar position. • Proficiency in handling cash deposits is necessary for this role. • Demonstrated experience with cash payments is a must. • Experience in collecting payments from clients or customers is required. • Ability to generate and manage receipts is essential. • Strong customer service skills and a customer-oriented mindset are important.
