This is a perfect opportunity for someone that has 1\-2 years of accounting experience and want to expand that accounting knowledge within the hospitality industry at one of the best places to work\! Previous hotel experience is a plus for this role\!
Welcome to Juniper Hotel Cupertino, Curio Collection by Hilton \- a modern unique boutique hotel in Silicon Valley\. We have 224 guestrooms with over 8,000 square footage of meeting space\. Located near The San Jose airport, McEnery Convention Center, several tech giants, Levi's Stadium and wineries are all minutes away\.
**Schedule:** This role will be primarily Monday\-Friday with flexibility to work weekends and holidays depending on Month\-End date required
**Wage:** $25\-$26 an hour
**What will I be doing?**
The Accounting Clerk will participate in the development and processes of accurate reports and account management\. Duties include the following:
+ Prepare, record, and process accounts payable and cash disbursement, and accounts receivable and cash receipts\.
+ Assist in the posting of accounts for: accounts receivable, cash receipts, accounts payable, cash disbursements and payroll\.
+ Maintain required records, reports, and files in an organized manner\.
+ Respond to guest inquiries, charge inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to support continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability
+ Participate in the production of monthly accounts as directed
+ Complete month\-end responsibilities
+ Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required
+ Researches and responds to information requests from internal departments and management
