Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Huntsville, Alabama. This Accounting Clerk position offers a flexible part-time schedule. Accounting Clerk will be expected to work 20-30 hours a week Monday through Friday. The selected candidate will join our team in the manufacturing industry, providing support to our accounting department and assisting with various accounting tasks. This role is based in our office environment. Responsibilities: • Assisting with the end of month reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy • Processing accounts payable (AP) and maintaining associated records • Conducting regular reconciliation of reports, including inventory and invoices received from sister locations • Using Microsoft Excel and other software such as SAP • Ensuring accurate data entry across various accounting systems • Handling Bills of Lading and performing associated reconciliations before invoicing • Assisting in the creation and updating of Excel formulas for financial operations • Ensuring consistent bank reconciliations to track financial transactions Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is necessary. • Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) procedures is required. • Must be adept at Data Entry tasks. • Experience in Invoice Processing is essential. • Expertise in using Microsoft Excel is expected. • Knowledge of SAP software or similar ERP system is preferred • Understanding of Bills of Lading is needed. • Capability to use Excel Formulas is mandatory. • Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations is required.
