Job Title: Accounting Consultant / Assistant Controller

Job Description

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the seamless continuation of critical financial operations during the ERP implementation period. This role is pivotal in supporting the month-end closing process, overseeing the accounts payable and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, and monitoring accounts receivable activities managed by our outsourced business partner. By maintaining the integrity and accuracy of financial records, this role directly impacts the company's financial health and operational efficiency. The person in this role will act as a point of contact for finance-related matters, ensuring compliance with fiscal regulations and company policies. This role requires a high level of independence, analytical skills, and the ability to make informed decisions based on experience. The successful candidate will collaborate with various departments, including Group Finance, IT, and Procurement, to ensure that financial processes are conducted smoothly and with high quality. Additionally, the role includes operational activities on the P2P and Accounting-to-Reporting (A2R) side, such as approving reconciliations and closing tasks, and acting as an intermediary between employees, suppliers, and our outsourced business partner (BPO). Overseeing the Travel & Expense (T&E) and credit card process is also in scope. This role is essential for maintaining financial stability and supporting the company's strategic objectives during the ERP implementation.

ResponsibilitiesSupport the month-end closing process.Oversee accounts payable and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.Monitor accounts receivable activities managed by our outsourced business partner.Ensure compliance with fiscal regulations and company policies.Collaborate with Group Finance, IT, and Procurement departments.Approve reconciliations and closing tasks.Act as an intermediary between employees, suppliers, and the outsourced business partner.Oversee the Travel & Expense (T&E) and credit card process.Essential SkillsExperience within a product-driven industry.Experience with overseeing accounts payable and P2P process.Experience working with third-party outsourced partners (accounting, AP, AR).Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with Coupa, Concur, Oracle, Blackline, and Bank of America tools preferred.Work Environment

This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. The role does not involve overseeing people but requires leading processes and serving as the go-to person for any escalations or issues within their area.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $85.00/hr.
