Accountabilities/Role/Responsibilities

Prepare reconciliations, identify and resolve differences; prepare monthly account reconciliation reportingMake recommendations to management to influence decisions and support policy/process developmentIdentify appropriate control gaps and work with management and staff in other departments to resolvePerform and/or review accounts to ensure payables/receivables are effectively managed and controlledReconcile accounts with SAP and FrontierProvide training and support to other departmentsCoordinate and/or support internal and external auditsManages and/or participates in projects and provide subject matter expertiseIdentify and implement process enhancements to increase team efficiencies and internal controls by using appropriate applicationsValidate, improve and document business processesProcess client Check/Wire, Filing Unclaimed Property, EFT Resends/reclaimsPerform Bank Account and Share ReconciliationsCoordinate and perform Month End, Quarter End and Year End reporting and analysisPerform Commission funding & balancing, NAV's/Dividend verifications & adjustments, processing of accounting entriesPerform daily Fund Settlements.Research & resolution of outstanding variances, general ledger and control accountingMaintain procedure documentationCollaborate with International Fund Managers & Transfer Agencies (trades, wires & general fund queries)Collaborate with Prod Support, BSA's on system/fund projects & enhancements.
