That’s why we need you, to help us tackle increasingly complex challenges posed by ever evolving health and well-being needs. **You are responsible for** + **The integrity of financial and management reporting (together with the Business Partner(s) (BP)), and work to proactively advise the BP on the impact of accounting standards on different business scenarios.** + **Proactively advise on accounting requirements for business events to drive better business decisions by making early determinations on the impact of accounting guidance. Determine accounting treatment for events and transactions of a complex, unique, and/or judgmental accounting nature, as well as to apply new/revised accounting policies in consultation with Technical Accounting and Oversight (TA&O).** + **Proactively identify risks to the financial processes and work with stakeholders inside and outside of Finance to address identified risks and financial process issues.** + **Review the trial balance (TB) and closing topics (Pre-MEC) in the monthly process, and lead the risk based Financial Reporting Review (FRR).** + **Monitor the Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations (BSAR), Month-end Closing (MEC) and Finance and Internal Control (ICS) audits. This includes working across finance and non-finance teams to address and close issues timely, review account documentation, and ensure reporting timelines are met.** **To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following** + **Accounting formal education, superior level degree (Bachelor CPA). Master’s degree in a Finance and Accounting orientated is a plus.** + **> 3 years of related experience in similar roles. Experience in factories, Procomer requirements and operations in free zones are required. Preferably having audit or consulting experience from “Big 4” firms** + **Strong and formal IFRS knowledge, Excel skills and internal control processes and systems. SAP and cost accounting experience and knowledge are preferred.** + **Analytical and problem-solving skills with focus on quality and integrity** + **Advanced English** **How we work at Philips** We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
