Made Possible.** **MISSION / SUMMARY:** This position requires daily interaction with mill operations as well as routine and adhoc financial assignments. These assignments can include measuring progress against mill objectives, analyzing business results, developing annual budgets / strategic plans and weekly forecast preparation. The successful candidate will understand and align business operations and Finance as he/she executes their role to exceed customer expectations and align with GPI business, cultural, financial and operational objectives. **JOB FUNCTION:** _Job functions include, but are not limited to the following._ + Perform day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance. + Process monthly Journal entries and reconcile account balances. + Update/review key performance measures and variances. + Prepare monthly financial reports, assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts. + Assist accounting manager or Controller with adhoc request/analysis. + Maintain accurate filing systems for all financial documents. + Ensure accurate and timely reporting / analysis to support and identify mill opportunities and /or areas of concern. + Ensure compliance of internal controls on all transactions involving company assets and interests, including legal, state and local taxes and insurance claims. + Ensure that the facility maintains accurate books and records in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and business is conducted in compliance with established corporate, sector and division policies, procedures and practices. **BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE:** + Proficient using spreadsheet programs (i.e., Microsoft Excel) and other databases + Industry exposure and manufacturing process knowledge a plus + Familiarity with company policies and procedures and various financial systems + General knowledge of financial analyses (variance reporting, budget development and forecasting) **EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE:** + Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline **SKILLS:** _Skills include but not limited to the following._ + Effective written and verbal communications skills + Effective strategic planning, problem solving, interpersonal, and analytical skills + Proficient use of spreadsheet programs (i.e., Microsoft Excel) and other databases + SAP experience is a plus + **SCHEDULE DEMANDS:** + General schedule is M-F assignment; however, employee must be willing to work alternate schedules occasionally; that may include early mornings, nights, and/or weekends and be punctual while doing so. **PHYSICAL DEMANDS:** + Sitting or standing for extended periods up to 8-hours. + Occasional Lifting up to 20 lbs. + Reading computer screen or other electronic devices. + Use of various office hand and electrical tools or equipment. **KEY COMPETENCIES:** + Integrity & Trust + Action Oriented + Customer Focus + Informing + Learning on the Fly + Problem Solving + Planning + Presentation Skills + Technical/Functional **Pay Range: $42,845.00** **- $64,315.00** **GPI’s Benefit Program** + **Competitive Pay** + **401(k) w/employer matching** + **Health & Welfare Benefits** + **Medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage** + **Short and Long-Term Disability** + **Life Insurance** + **Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance** + **Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts** + **Various Voluntary benefits** + **Adoption Assistance Program** + **Employee Discount Programs** + **Employee Assistance Program** + **Tuition Assistance Program** + **Paid Time Off + 11 paid company holidays each year** **Applicants will be accepted on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.** **Additional information will be shared during the hiring process.
