Subfamily Description
Global Accounting (GAC) comprises global end-to-end accounting processes with high quality, timeliness, and continuous efficiency improvement. Covers processing of accounting transactions to ensure accurate reporting in accordance to Nokia's accounting and reporting principles and local statutory regulations.
Written and spoken English is a requirement, other language skills are advantage
Experience and good understanding of statutory and accounting processes

Responsibility for IFRS legal entity accounting & reporting for the defined countries in scope focusing on
BS review and P&L variance analysis
Maintenance of close checklist
Maintenance of error log
Aged item management: identify, escalate, follow up
Support in all audits to Finance Accounting Manager (statutory/tax)
Support to Finance Accounting Manager for questions and issues arising from projects or daily business concerning accounting; including Service Provider support
Support for internal controls and country internal audit to Finance Accounting Manager
Support in sign off defined statutory/tax deliverables prepared by Service Provider in alignment with FAM
Single point of contact to accounting service provider
Interface for Nokia stakeholders with regards to IFRS legal entity BS and P&L
Provides support and coordination of global process implementation and tool deployments in accounting/finance area
Complies with Nokia Global F&C accounting principles, procedures (including SOX and Internal Controls) and IFRS/local GAAP accounting principles for the defined responsibility area.
Ensures that the right process is followed and that processes are compliant with Nokia global policies and processes.
