This role is ideal for a recent student who wants to gain hands-on experience in financial reporting, accounting processes, and business operations. The intern will work closely with our accounting professionals to support day-to-day financial activities and gain practical industry knowledge. **Key Responsibilities:** + Assist in financial data entry, record-keeping, and account reconciliations. + Support the month-end and year-end closing processes. + Prepare financial reports and assist in analyzing financial statements. + Work on special projects related to finance and accounting as assigned. + Assist with audits by gathering supporting documentation. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes. + Participate in meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills. + Travel domestically as needed for business-related assignments. **Basic Qualifications:** + Recent student of an accredited business college. + Basic understanding of Finance and Accounting (1-2 years of experience). + Strong work ethic and a desire to learn. + Good communication and teamwork skills. + Willingness and ability to travel domestically. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Recent student of an accredited business school (MBA program). + Professional and hands-on experience with finance and accounting functions. + Experience in the Building Technology business. **Essential Job Functions:** + Be able to lift and carry personal computers, and spend significant time sitting etc. + Be able to lift up to 30lbs. **Application Process:** Please submit your resume along with a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and how you meet the qualifications outlined above.
