Key Accountabilities

In the role of Accounting Intern, you will provide support to the Shared Services function (AP / AR) analyzing both customer and vendor accounts. You will perform analysis on those accounts determining financial opportunities or risk through standard reporting. The role will assist with Adhoc projects as necessary ranging from financial analysis to regulatory compliance projects. This role will assist with the monthly closing process by book required journal entries.

This position will be located in our Milwaukee, WI Headquarters.

Responsibilities

Ensure that balance sheet reconciliations are completed in a timely and accurate manner

Produce timely and accurate monthly financial statements and provide analysis on variances to forecast or budget.

Distribute and communicate financial results to business leaders specific to TWC performance

Qualifications/Requirements

Pursuing a 4-year degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related field

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and particularly strong Excel skills involving pivot tables and macros.

You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities.

You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent relationships within the business

Able to work 40 hours per week during the summer
