Accounting & Internal Control Manager

What would you do as our Accounting & Internal Control Manager

Reporting to our Director of Business Control, you will be responsible for managing administrative resources and collaborating with the accounting team in various financial operations.

 

You would also:

• Collaborate with the Accounting team to support accurate and timely financial closings (monthly hard closing), ensure compliance with tax and accounting regulations, and review PL/BS/CF (Profit and Loss Statement/Balance Sheet/Cash Flow) for actual/planned closing.

• Supervision the contracts with suppliers of general services (insurance, lease contracts, credit insurance, etc…).

• Supervision of invoicing and collection activities; monitoring and analyzing customer accounts to identify problems and propose solutions.

• Contribute to the preparation and implementation of risk-based audit plans and programs, organizing and maintaining all necessary documentation to support audit processes, including detailed records and reports, to facilitate a smooth and accurate review.

• Conduct audit reviews (Operational Audit, Compliance Audit, and Financial Audit) on group companies in key operational areas, using the Internal Audit Function’s methodological framework.

 

The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone with:

• At least 10 years of previous experience in accounting in a multinational environment, with solid accounting knowledge (GL, AR, AP, cash management).

• Good knowledge of English. French is a plus.

• A degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance.

• Preferential knowledge of IAS/IFRS, solid proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (preferably AS400).

• Results-oriented, high performer with problem-solving skills and advanced analytical abilities. Possesses high integrity, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with key contacts at all levels of the group. Demonstrates strong teamwork and presentation skills.
