Position Summary:

A major provider in the commercial services industry is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. This position will be responsible for overseeing coprorate accounting and business operations within the company.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and journal entry approvals.Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.Manage and monitor month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data, identify trends, and support decision-making.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards such as GAAP or IFRS.Coordinate with external auditors during audits and assist in resolving audit-related issues.Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Support financial planning and budgeting processes by providing timely and accurate financial data.

Qualifications:
