Our client is seeking a skilled Accounting Manager with a minimum of 5 years of accounting or finance experience, ideally in a non-profit environment. The perfect candidate will have 2 to 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience and hold a CPA designation.\r\n

Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager:\r\nLead the Finance and control functions; and the day-to-day financial operations\r\nManaged a team of three direct reports (AR clerk, AP clerk and Senior Accountant)\r\nAssist in the preparation of accurate and timely monthly financial statements and quarterly\r\nMinistry reporting\r\nResponsible for monthly and year-end close procedures\r\nEnsure quarterly GST\/HST tax filing\r\nLead annual budget preparation process\r\nManage external audits and any governmental audits that might be required\r\n\r\n
