Description
We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead and oversee the corporate accounting operations for our organization in Grand Prairie, Texas. This role involves supervising a team, ensuring compliance with company policies and audit requirements, and providing exceptional support to operating divisions.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise the accounts payable department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices.
• Manage high-volume accounts payable operations across multiple software systems.
• Communicate with vendors to address and resolve invoice discrepancies, including performing reconciliations.
• Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct research and complete special accounting and finance projects as assigned.
• Collaborate with accounting and IT teams to support automated accounts payable workflows, resolve issues, and provide training for employees.
• Oversee tasks related to bank deposits, fixed asset reconciliation, disposals, and depreciation entries.
• Generate and analyze financial reports as part of the month-end close process.
• Assist with audit processes by providing necessary documentation and support.
• Deliver training and guidance on systems, policies, and procedures to division teams.

Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, both verbally and in writing.
• Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on supporting corporate divisions.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in explaining complex financial concepts to non-accounting professionals.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with fixed asset accounting.
• Experience with accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
